Vegetable Pizza

Okay readers, it's time to get healthy now. I've been making a lot of desserts for my family, and it's time for something different. This is not a salad or anything super-healthy like that. This is a veggie pizza, and it tastes really good!!  I took it to our Bible study and afterwards there were only a few pieces left.
I'm sorry Bob the Tomato.... I had to use you in this recipe. =(

The ingredients (Oops, I forgot the cheese and mushrooms in this picture.)

A professional chef NEVER cuts his fingers.....I'm not a professional chef.
I love bell peppers!

My rainbow of veggies!

This stuff is way better, and healthier than pizza!
YAY, they liked it, I knew they would (or at least I hoped so). =)

Cheeeessse Pleeeaasse.

Ingredients:
2 pkgs. Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 envelope original Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing
3/4 cup each: carrots, tomatoes, peppers, celery, broccoli, onions, mushrooms, cauliflower
1-2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
1. Cover bottom of jellyroll pan with rolls, pinch together perforations.
2. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
3. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, and ranch dressing. Spread on baked crescent rolls.
4. Spread chopped veggies on cream cheese and top with cheddar cheese. Chill.

I actually got a suggestion to substitute Greek yogurt for the cream cheese, to make this healthy pizza, humongously healthy (but I'd have to try that first before I recommend it). I hope you guys like the change of flavor and ingredients, if not I'll be posting a brownie recipe on Wednesday which will have a whole lot more calories and chocolate!

  2. Hey I love Pizzas. Whether it is vegetable pizza or chicken Pizza, i just love eating. But i never thought to make it in my own home. Well my girl friend knows how to make it. I will surely like to have some home made pizzas in my dining table in the coming time. :)
